Antibacterial silver fibre is embedded throughout the sock to stop bacteria forming to prevent the foot becoming infected. For extra comfort, the sole is a soft towel-like material to provide cushioning and warmth. The seamless stitching reduces friction or irritation of the feet and prevents the skin from breaking or developing blisters. To avoid constriction around the ankles, the top of the sock is non elasticated and pressure-free.

Dealing with diabetes can have many side effect and having fragile feet is one of them. Due to the lack of blood flow to the feet, they can become prone to breakage, swelling and are slow to heal when injured. These socks are designed to help manage this.
