The boot is designed to help those with a sprained ankle, stable fracture of the fibula, talus, calcaneus and medial malleolus, those who have had ligament, soft tissue and tendon surgery or forefoot or midfoot injury.
What are the benefits?
One benefits of wearing the boot is the pressure is eased on the ankle which can help the ankle heal after injury or surgery. Also, the boot aids propulsion and the rocker bottom design helps a normal gait. The boot also reduces the heel strike force on the calcaneus, which makes the boot comfortable to wear and decreases any pain caused. With the adjustable straps, the walker can be tailored to fit the user to their preference.
