The Rossmax Infrared Ear Thermometer has been specially designed to provide the user with the highest level of accuracy available through the 3 second rotating scan mode. This allows the thermometer to view the entire ear canal to detect the highest temperature. 

Other than the 3 second rotating scan mode, there is a 1 second scan mode for a quick reading. Another useful feature is the fever alarm which sounds when it detects a temperature of over 37.5°C. There is also the option to switch between ᵒC and ᵒF. The thermometer has a ‘Plug and Secure’ probe cover which are durable and can be used multiple times. To help keep track of previous temperatures, the thermometer can remember the last 9 readings. If the thermometer is running low on battery power or detects a malfunction, it will alert you on the screen. It will also automatically shut off when it is not being used. Included is a storage case to protect the thermometer when it's not in use.
